Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of the AutoWo.ch platform. Please read them carefully before creating an account or posting a listing.

01Operator and scope
AutoWo.ch is operated by réalité Suisse GmbH, Habsburgstrasse 31, 8037 Zurich (AutoWo). These terms and conditions apply to the use of the website, the mobile apps, and all related services. By registering or using the platform, you accept these terms.
02Role of the platform
AutoWo is a marketplace and intermediary. We provide the technical platform on which private sellers, garages, and buyers list, find, and contact each other about vehicles. The contract of sale for a vehicle is concluded solely between buyer and seller. AutoWo is not a party to that contract, does not sell vehicles itself, and gives no warranty as to the condition, characteristics, or lawfulness of the listed vehicles.
03Account and registration
Some features require an account. You must provide truthful information, keep your credentials confidential, and not transfer your account to third parties. You must have legal capacity. Binding actions (bidding, reserving, listing, messaging) require a confirmed email address; disposable email addresses are not accepted. We may suspend or delete accounts in case of breach of these terms.
04Listings and seller obligations
Sellers are solely responsible for their listings. Details on make, model, year, mileage, accident-free status, roadworthiness test, and equipment must be accurate and complete. Only vehicles you are entitled to dispose of may be listed. Prohibited, misleading, or unlawful content is not permitted. AutoWo may review, reject, or remove listings.
05Enquiries, reservation, and auctions
Buyers contact sellers via a protected enquiry. A reservation with a deposit holds a vehicle bindingly for the buyer until the handover is confirmed or the reservation is cancelled. The deposit amounts to 2 percent of the price, with a minimum of CHF 200 and a maximum of CHF 1000; it serves as security and is held by AutoWo until completion. In live auctions, the highest bid wins at the close, provided any reserve price has been met; bids are binding. The winner must pay the deposit within 48 hours, otherwise the award lapses and the vehicle becomes available again. In auctions too, the contract of sale is concluded solely between buyer and seller; the purchase price is paid directly between the parties at the handover.
06Prices, fees, and subscriptions
Use as a buyer is free; in total, the buyer never pays more than the purchase price of the vehicle. Chargeable services include in particular: one-time listing fees for private sellers (Standard and Until-sold packages; the first listing is free and includes 14 days of enquiries, after which it stays visible and new enquiries are delivered once a package is purchased), garage subscriptions (Starter, Growth, Pro, Enterprise), promotions (Boost), and a flat success fee of CHF 89 on a successful sale via a reservation or auction. The success fee is taken out of the buyer's deposit and credited against the purchase price; economically it is borne by the seller, who receives the purchase price minus CHF 89 directly from the buyer at the handover. If no sale takes place, no success fee is due. The applicable prices are shown clearly before purchase and include any applicable value added tax.
07Payment processing
Payments are processed by our payment provider Stripe, by card or TWINT. By purchasing, you authorise AutoWo and Stripe to charge the amount. Subscriptions renew periodically until cancelled and can be cancelled with effect at the end of the current period. A change of garage subscription is prorated.
08Refunds
If a buyer cancels a reservation before the handover, the deposit paid is refunded via Stripe and the vehicle is released again; no success fee is due in that case. After the handover is confirmed, AutoWo automatically refunds the buyer the deposit minus the success fee of CHF 89 to the original payment method. The payment provider's transaction fees (roughly 1.5 to 3 percent of the amount paid, depending on the payment method) are not returned by the provider on refunds; they are therefore deducted from the refund amount on every deposit refund and borne by the buyer. One-time listing and Boost fees are generally non-refundable after publication where the service has been provided. Mandatory statutory rights remain reserved.
09Financing calculator
The financing calculator is for non-binding guidance only. It does not constitute an offer, a credit approval, or financing advice. Any credit agreement is concluded only directly with a financing partner and after its assessment.
10Prohibited use
The following are prohibited in particular: false information, fraud, circumventing the protected contact, automated data extraction (scraping), spam, and any use that infringes the rights of third parties or applicable law. In case of breach, we may remove content and suspend accounts.
11Liability
AutoWo is not liable for the conclusion, performance, or freedom from defects of transactions between users. For the platform itself, we are liable only for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law. Any liability for slight negligence, indirect damage, or lost profit is excluded within the limits of the law.
12Intellectual property
The AutoWo brand, logo, design, texts, and software are protected. Content you upload remains your property; however, you grant AutoWo the right to use it to operate and promote the platform.
13Data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
14Changes to the terms
We may amend these terms. The version published at the time you use the platform applies. In case of material changes, we will inform you in an appropriate manner.
15Governing law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies exclusively, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the conflict-of-law rules of private international law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted by law, Zurich.
